Our client is a rapidly growing portfolio company of one of the most highly regarded Private Equity funds in the country – and whose growth objectives will be met through acquisition. The company, located in Overland Park, Kansas, is about 15 miles from downtown Kansas City. In 2001, Overland Park was named the second-best city in America to live by "Business Development Outlook Magazine" and it remains a nationally recognized city with a thriving economy.

 

Working alongside the CEO, CFO and the investor, you will conduct market research to identify potential acquisition targets and contact them to determine their interest in being acquired.  Once you have developed interest, you will work alongside the CEO to sell the opportunity and with the CFO to complete the transaction.  What better way to experience a buy-side opportunity - learning the acquisition process from the ground up - and from the inside out - all while enhancing your business development and sales skills!

 

Qualified candidates will have outstanding analytical and financial modeling skills, along with an outgoing personality and the desire to sell the acquisition opportunity over the phone.  In addition to this, we expect winning candidates will possess 2-5 years of experience plus:

Dynamite Credentials – top grades from a top school – with a finance-related degreeTop test scores and a history of accomplishment in and out of school and workSolid banking, investment, and/or financial consulting experienceBusiness and professional acumen and a strong desire to work in an operational role
