Business Developer – Remote Sales

In the role of Business Developer you are a major contributor to Vertical Screen’s success. As a member of the field sales team you will manage the entire sales process from prospecting to close, take ownership and responsibility for customer relationships, coordinate implementations for new clients, and provide ongoing customer support. Partnering with decision makers in HR, security, legal, risk management and other functional areas you will leverage Vertical Screen’s superior services and solutions, outstanding industry reputation and unparalleled customer support to compete for and close new business.
The Truescreen division is currently seeking Business Developer candidates with experience selling professional services into hotel and restaurant chains, casino and resort complexes, theme parks, film studios, etc., to take the lead in creating a new vertical serving the Hospitality and Entertainment industries.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
2+ years success managing the full sales process including lead generation, prospecting/cold calling, relationship development, proposal writing, negotiations, closing opportunities, and client follow-up
Proven success achieving quota in a service-oriented sales environment
Experience working effectively from a home-based office
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to differentiate yourself and develop business relationships via the telephone
Superior time management, decision making and problem solving skills
Computer proficient using MS Office applications, the Internet, and sales reporting software; experience using Salesforce.com a plus
Experienced leading Web-based demonstrations
Confident, enthusiastic and motivated by success; is highly self-directed and brings a positive "can do" attitude
Strong emphasis on personal integrity and professional ethics
