Description: Utilize various databases to track, record, compile, extract, format, interpret, and present data to support management planning, decision-making, and implementation of effective business solutions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Maintain and update various databases specific to department or functions management information reporting, and assume responsibility for data integrity.

Prepare and/or develop new, routine, and ad hoc reports to respond to managements requests for historical data, operating statistics, forecasts, financial reporting, trends, etc.

Format and present information in a manner that will facilitate managements understanding of the results and impact.

May prepare, interpret, and present statistical summaries, trend analyses, forecasts, survey and/or benchmarking results.

May be required to provide research and/or analytical support when compiling and reporting information.

May be required to respond to data requests from cross-functional areas and/or external sources.

May act as database administrator by setting up new users, removing termed or transferred users, creating new data fields, and/or training new users.

May participate with internal or external technical staff to provide input and/or assist with implementation of database system upgrades, changes, or enhancements.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or equivalent from four-year College. Two years experience in business information database maintenance, administration, tracking, and reporting. A minimum of 2 years experience in commercial real estate industry and/or specialty area (Marketing, Finance, Real Estate, etc.) preferred.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Must possess excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills. Ability to speak clearly and persuasively. Able to listen and respond well to inquiries. Demonstrate high level of group presentation skills and effectively present numerical data. Able to maintain confidentiality and integrity of data being reviewed by internal and external clients.

OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES

Focus on problem solving, mathematical analysis and project management. Knowledge of accounting and business law helpful. Should have advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office software, Human Resource systems and Project Management software.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

Decisions made with understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines. Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to department.
