Job Description:
The individual will be responsible for working with the Consumer Products Sales team in pursuing and closing business in a variety of CPG process areas. He/She will be closely involved with developing sales presentations, responding to RFI/RFPs, build customer value propositions, creating white-papers and collateral and mapping customer needs to Siemens' solutions. Incumbent will bring thought leadership from the industry to the customer situation. He/she needs to be experienced in conducting business process analysis and recommending process changes and mapping Siemens’ technology to customer issues. Candidate will be responsible for researching customer-related information and / or business processes. He/she uses professional concepts; applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. Works on problems where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Builds productive working relationships internally and externally.
Prerequisites and Essential Functions:
Incumbent must have experience working in the CPG industry or delivering solutions to the industry preferably in the PLM space.
Incumbent must have an in depth understanding of the product concept through launch and disposal/end of life cycle within the Consumer Products space.
Candidate must have expertise in the area of formula development, specification management, compliance management, labeling and claims preferably within a formulated products CPG company or a technology provider in that space.
He/She must be able to clearly articulate and present value propositions at a senior management level.
Incumbent must have the ability to conduct process conversations and relate them back to financial benefits and solutions.
