Functional Title: Business Analyst Position Description: Responsibilities: Looking for a motivated, quick-learning, & self-directed Business Analyst to work with internal customer groups on projects by gathering & documenting business/technical requirements, structured analysis, creating process & data flows, developing test plans, executing testing, coordinating tasks and project plans, and supporting customers during system implementation. Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs. Familiar with relational database concepts, and client-server concepts. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. This position(s) may act as a team lead in defining tasks & providing work direction to application development staff. May report directly to a project lead or manager. Job Experience: Qualifications: Bachelor or Masters Degree or equivalent work experience. 3-6+ years experience as a Business Analyst performing the identified responsibilities. Full software development life cycle and project coordination experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Unified Processes (use cases, activity & sequence diagrams, etc.) and consulting experience a plus. Enthusiasm to proactively coordinate and take action within a team environment. Energetic customer-facing and conflict resolution skills a strong plus. Years of Experience Required: More than 5 years Expected Travel Time: None
