DEPARTMENT: OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT
LOCATION: WICHITA FALLS, TX
Essential Functions:
· Compile, analyze, and report Division and District business results
· Analyze actual vs. budget variance of operating expenses and capital spending
· Administer and report Division capital projects
· Ownership of Division labor and capital allocations
· Focal Point and Coordinator for annual Operating Plan
· Division administrator and Subject Matter Expert for Oracle Project Costing system
· Division administrator for the Asset Management (Oracle eAM) system
· Requisitioning and Procurement of materials and services
· Implementing process standardization initiatives and champion corporate policy
Job Responsibilities:
· Act as Division representative on a team focused on standardizing business reporting, identifying best practices, and simplifying work processes
· Work closely with the Operations Management organization in Houston to assure the integrity of operating expense, capex, manpower, and other business attestations
· Assume leadership role in setting objectives for financial initiatives and best practice implementation
· Work closely with Operations’ leadership at both the Head Office and field levels in support of the annual business plan, quarterly opex projections, and related variance analysis
· Align division employees with corporate policies and procedures, and help field personnel understand their impact on profitability
· Provide divisional procurement support including requisition and/or purchase order entry, goods receipt and inventory record maintenance, invoice reconciliation, and expediting purchased materials.
Requirements:
· Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
· 5+ years of applicable experience in financial reporting or variance analysis preferred
· Strong quantitative and analytical skills
· Strong problem solving and conceptual thinking abilities
· Strong communication, computer, presentation, and interpersonal skills
· Ability to effectively handle and prioritize multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
· Ability to handle high-pressure situations in a professional and effective manner
