Leads efforts to ensure that information systems support enterprise mission and objectives. Works closely with departmental customers and administration to conduct business analysis and identify business objectives and requirements. Coordinates the development of technology plans and strategies. Manages, from a client business perspective, related systems projects. Ensures a high level of client satisfaction by monitoring the delivery of ongoing information systems to the enterprise. Performs related responsibilities as required. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree and eight years of experience in planning and applying information technology to one or more business function or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. " Experience working with faculty, staff, and students to design and document needs and objectives and translate them into technical designs, services, processes, and policies. " Experience in an academic, health, and/or research institution. " Highly articulate with experience building strong and collaborative relationships. " Expertise in developing visual and narrative artifacts to document requirements, flows, architectures, models, and designs. " Ability to define, manage, and lead initiatives across an academic medical research organization. " Understanding of the basic principles of change management and how to incorporate them into communication and strategies. " Experience in biomedical informatics or one of its disciplines, such as bioinformatics, clinical, nursing, structural, and/or public health informatics. " Experience working within a new organization and helping it to achieve its objectives and goals; develop new partnerships; and expand its services. Ability to excel in the academic medical research environment.

The successful candidate will serve as a liaison between university researchers and IT applications developers/analysts. He/she will write technical process and documentation specs for a research and healthcare environment. He/she will write and edit user manuals and training manuals.
