Busines Systems Architect / Business Systems Director

We have been retained by our client to find them a Senior Business Systems Architect or Business Information Systems Director who will be responsible for migrating an existing business processes to a new processing and billing system.  The selected candidate will work collaboratively with the business units to define, model, configure, deploy and test business processes in our new system.  Candidate must be capable of leading diverse teams, documenting requirements, managing scope, making process design or strategy recommendations.  Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.  Leads and directs the work of others.  Experience in customer billing and collections, subscriber account management, including cancellations and write offs is a big plus.  Candidate will assist CIO in aligning IT with the business units.

Business Process Mapping – Conduct, document and present process flow analysis.   Use mapping tools along with narrative documentation have enable clients to analyze their current business processes and to develop new business process flows.  Conduct, document and evaluate major business / system processes.  Use cycle time and work measurement principles can be effectively used in conjunction with process mapping and improvements initiatives.  Use process mapping, system evaluation, work measurement to identify process improvement opportunities and save costs.

Taking this whole existing process making things run more smoothly by new business process design changes.  Take the existing process used internally through mulitple departments that is used on customers who want to cancel their service, changing & improving that process – to make things work like clockwork. 

The qualified candidate will have expert skills in the following:   Business process analysis, design, modeling, and optimization, Business process re-engineering (BPR),  Process frameworks and modeling standards,  Facilitation and teamwork, experience in a full project lifecycle of a large complicated systems migration.  Experience tying business value to process and infrastructure improvements.  Leadership, inter-personal skills, oral and written communications.  Systems configuration, quality and testing.

Preferred qualifications:   Master’s degree in business or information technology or equivalent; 5+ years modeling business processes, roles, and organizations;  3+ years of experience in business process redesign or business process reengineering (BPR); Experience leading complex billing systems or ERP migrations;  Program/Project management experience;  Experience from Internet Service Providers (ISPs) or Telecom related companies.

Compensation:  $95,000 - $105,000 per year
