NJ Transit's South Jersey Bus Operations Vehicle Maintenance Division has immediate openings for Serviceperson positions in our Egg Harbor Township, Hamilton Township, Camden and Washington Township (Turnersville) Bus Garages. Must be 21 years of age or older, have a High School diploma or GED, possess a valid driver's license with less than 5 points. Applicants must also possess a CDL license or be able to obtain a CDL permit with Passenger and Air Brake Endorsements. Be able to perform light mechanical repairs on vehicles and have some mechanical knowledge, experience or technical school training. Responsibilities include fueling buses, topping off fluid levels, performing light mechanical repairs and changing tires as required. Applicants must be able to work full time, any shift and be able to pass our entry level mechanical test. We offer a competitive starting salary of $13.23 - $13.73 depending on the assigned location.
