Description: Will act as the Aeronautics/ESBA Company representative for Navy P-3 logistics issues, mission system upgrades, airframe, overhaul and wing replacement, working in both the Washington Operations office in Crystal City, VA and the Corporate Business Development Office in Pax River, MD. Will interface with Lockheed Martin P-3 representatives at Maritime Systems & Sensors and Aeronautics. Will also work various logistics issues as required on Lockheed Martin new or legacy aircraft including C-130J, C-130, C-5, etc.

SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTION
Will work in the Aviation Systems mission area in Washington Operations, as well as the Business Development Office in Pax River, reporting to the Director, Aviation Logistics in Wash Ops. Manages the identification and implementation of commercial development projects relating to new and/or existing technologies. Oversees the identification of markets, opportunities and feasibility of product development. Manages the development and dissemination of information on a continuous basis to all pertinent parties concerning the fulfillment of project goals and objectives. Additional participation in business development and aviation logistics activities, as required.

TYPICAL MINIMUMS
Appropriate degree from an accredited college required with professional experience commensurate with assignment. An advanced degree is a plus.

Experience with Navy P-3 aircraft logistics. Familiarity with points of internal and external customer contact particularly NAVAIR and PMA-290. Knowledge of aircraft maintenance repair and overhaul. Working understanding of end-to-end logistics in the DoD environment.
