This firm is expanding our sales team and is looking for a very sharp, business-minded Branch Sales Manager to drive business in Washington, DC.
Essential Functions:
As a Branch Sales Manager, your primary responsibility is the generation of new business, selling our intellectual property with consulting wrapped around it. Management of P&L associated with your clients. This company is run in a very decentralized fashion and you’ll be measured on combination of both revenue and profit. Work closely with Consulting Management to ensure proper service delivery. You will have a Consulting Manager who manages technical staff, but the two of you will manage a business unit and will strategize as to what types of talent to add to the consultant base in your business unit. You will be a leader of this business unit.
Essential Knowledge/Skills:
At least 10+ years experience and proven track record of sales success, gaining account entry and developing relationships at Senior Executive levels/C levels, in large, enterprise accounts.Must have experience selling IT services.Aggressive new business development style and strong comfort level in opportunity development.Action-oriented, results -oriented, with a "take charge" attitude, strong business case development and closing skills. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of driving new client revenues in excess of $3 million annually with demonstrated leadership in managing sales cycles, negotiating and closing large, customized deals. Experience establishing and strengthening relationships at the C level. You must be a skilled negotiator, able to articulate how the value of the benefits of the solution outweigh the client's objections, and come to a comfortable purchase decision which delivers business results and is profitable for the firm. You must have a demonstrated track record of attaining $2M-4M+ annual revenue goal, selling professional IT services and solutions. A team player with a strong executive presence and a professional image is mandatory. This person must be someone comfortable in a highly collaborative, team oriented culture.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree MBA preferred
