Responsibilities: · Exercises executive and administrative control either directly or through subordinates, over the entire operation of the branch office and its personnel to ensure adequate training in selling and cross-selling of Bank products and services, Bank policy, procedure, programs and objectives. · Maintains prescribed security controls and compliance with current regulatory legislation in order to protect the branch against criminal and fraudulent operations and unnecessary risk or exposure. · Examines workflow procedures, staff levels, and client flow and transactions volume. Implements revisions to maximize productivity and income generating opportunities. · Sets sales goals and objectives and implements actions, by motivating staff, to sell bank products both inside and outside of the Bank. Monitors performance and conducts periodic sales meetings to evaluate and reinforce results against stated goals and objectives. · Reviews financial results and ratios against budget monthly and identifies items of concern and subsequent action plan. Understands value analysis. Identifies initiatives and recommendations based on their projected return on investment. Prepares operating reports and statistical data to aid Senior Management in evaluating Branch performance. · Communicates with branch personnel, the Regional Branch Administrator and the EVP Retail Banking to ensure the smooth flow of information and the promotion of teamwork throughout the Bank. · Represents the Bank in the community in a manner which maintains and expands friendly relationships with individuals, business persons, civic organizations and service clubs. · Ensures proper staff appearance, courteousness with regard to the telephone as well as direct contact, professionalism and empathy toward client needs. Minimizes occasions of client dissatisfaction and is attentive and responsive to client feedback. · Opens all types of accounts for clients and assists them whenever possible, as well as performs any other duty that is necessary to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Branch. · In conjunction with regional loan officers, interviews prospective loan applicants, obtains required documentation and provides vital information which may assist the loan officer in the decision making process. · Makes outside sales call on clients and/or prospective clients to expand or establish business relationships consistent within the Corporate guidelines. Ensures client satisfaction with the products and services and handles complaints as they occur in the Branch and/or are referred through Corporate Headquarters. · Effectively works with all other Bank departments toward providing the highest level of service to clients; fully understanding the importance of teamwork and communication. · Performs other duties as may be assigned by Senior Management.
Job Experience: Basic Qualifications: · 4 year College Degree in Business · 2 years of supervisory experience · 3 years of branch banking experience · Working knowledge of PC systems/applications and Universal Workstation No agencies please.
