Long Island City based training center seeks a full time, Bookkeeper.
Candidates *must* have a minimum of seven years experience and possess extensive knowledge of Quickbooks. Experience in the construction industry is a plus.
Duties to Include:
- All aspects of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- In-house payroll processing from time card entry to multiple company/multiple state tax filing
- Bank and charge card reconciliation
- Collections
- Budget Preparation and Financial Reporting
- Inventory control
- Improving current systems and overall office organization
All candidates should possess strong communication skills, be able to meet deadlines, be highly motivated and work well in a team.
