Medical Diagnostic Laboratories, L.L.C. (MDL) is a CLIA certified clinical laboratory with multiple state licensing, specializing in state of the art, automated DNA based molecular analysis of a variety of chronic and infectious illnesses. MDL specializes and performs Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) with a larger menu of testing available in the field of infectious disease. Our main theme of research is in the field of Gynecology, Infectious Diseases, Vector-borne Diseases, Mycology, Urology, Pediatric Infectious Diseases, Cancer Diagnostics and Pharmacogenomics

 

 

We are currently seeking a Bookkeeper to join our growing team at our corporate office in Hamilton, New Jersey. 

 

 

Responsibilities

 

 Assist and work with the department Staff Accountant in handling: Accounts Payable data input into our accounting system and check printing for   companies other than MDL Maintain check inventory Handle Petty Cash Assist with bank reconciliations Assist in preparation of general ledger account analysis  Organize and distribute incoming and outgoing mail for the department. Photocopying and distribution of various correspondence and reports.

 

Qualifications

 

Two to three years experience in an accounts payable/accounting position Excellent verbal and written communication skillsSelf-motivated with heavy multi-tasking abilities Must be proficient in Microsoft applications particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as e-mail and internet applicationsExperience with MAS 90/200 accounting software a big plus.
