Due to our consistent growth over the last ten years, LSO is looking for a talented and resourceful individual to fill the position of bookkeeper/cost accountant.

 

 

Responsibilities

Responsible for matching packing slips and coding invoices. Input vendor’s invoices. Review, audit and process credit card transactions. Responsible for verifying and coding specific invoices for outside processing and freight are charged to our customers. Work with vendors to resolve disputes and ensure that orders are not interrupted and reconcile vendor statements. Bank reconciliation. Post checks received from customers. Research discrepancies and problem solving on customer’s invoices. Analyze past due amounts over 30 days and communicate by e-mail or phone call for collection. Issue invoices when work orders are finished. Assist in analyzing actual manufacturing costs comparing standard costs to actual production costs. Analyze discrepancies on raw materials, inventory and labor.

 

Requirements

2-4 years experience with Accounts Payable.Experience in Cost Accounting, Finance or related field.Strong computer skills with knowledge of MS Excel and Word. Must be detail-oriented and organized. Must posses good interpersonal skills.  Must posses strong research and follow up skills.
