Biomedical Tech Support Engineer
Job Description:
The Biomedical Tech Support Engineer will provide in-house and on-site customer service, training and support on all medical, hospital and surgical equipment.
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities include supporting Customers and Dealer Network in Latin America by way of providing training, troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance.
Specifically:
- Supporting Latin America Dealer Network and Customers by helping them to diagnose problems and offer options for resolution.
- Communicate and coordinate repair activities/training with providers and OEMs.
- Prepare and maintain accurate service records/transactions of work performed.
- Represent the company in a service role and take responsibility for customer satisfaction. Increase customers loyalty by professionally communicating with them.
- Respond to customers requests promptly and provide solutions within entitled response time.
- Supporting the territory sales team. Assist sales team with service and training of equipment to Customers and Dealer Network in-house or at customer sites.
Required skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical-Biomedical fields
- At least two years experience as a service/support person resolving issues.
- Excellent technical troubleshooting/repair skills for medical equipment.
- Strong customer services skills including strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication.
- Self-motivated. Must have ability to work independently and with little supervision.
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
Ability to travel overseas.
