We have an immediate opportunity for Biologist/Applicant Maintenance/Support with our client, is a leading provider of agricultural products and integrated solutions for farmers. The selected candidate will work as a key team member in the deployment and support of Biotech or Field Breeding applications for our client. Focus will be to provide support for global user community, responsible for deploying and supporting enterprise-level biotech and plant breeding software systems. Responsibilities include software deployment, training, user adoption, user support, troubleshooting issues, issue tracking and software documentation. The Support Specialist has liaison responsibilities with each applications software project team.

The qualified candidate must have a B.S. in Computer Science, Biology, Agronomy or Plant Sciences and/or comparable work experience in Agriculture or Biotechnology. The candidate must be PC proficient; have experience with agricultural research and/or business; a strong working knowledge of Excel, Access and other Microsoft software; strong organizational skills, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
The candidate must be a self starter and be able to work alone and as part of a team
