Responsibilities

 

·        Effectively answer routine questions regarding payments, statements, repossession, title and registration, and other account information from customers.

·        Process customer transactions including taking payments, and maintaining account information.

·        Persuade customers to bring their delinquent accounts current.

·        Negotiate acceptable payment arrangements with customers.

·        Verify the accuracy of daily reports and balance a cash drawer.

·        Process returned and forwarding mail during slow call periods.

·        Other clerical duties as assigned.

·        Develop understanding of the collections and title process to best support the needs of the team.

·        Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a high level of integrity.

 

Qualifications

 

·        High School diploma or equivalency.

·        2 years related call center experience in fast paced office setting.

·        Bilingual English/Spanish ability is required.

·        Customer service focused and detailed oriented.

·        Professional and persuasive communication and negotiation skills.

·        Organizational and problem solving skills; telephone and computer skills.

·        Understanding of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in an underwriting setting highly desired.

·        Able to learn and apply new tasks and processes quickly.

·        Must be able to pass our criminal, credit, drug testing, and background check.

 

Schedule

 

·        Standard work schedule includes evenings and weekend hours.

·        This position does require some paid over-time hours.
