A Japanese beverage company in Torrance is seeking a qualified Bilingual (English and Spanish) Sales Representative who is willing to travel 90% of their work. (Mileage Reimbursement and company cell phone provided)

Location to cover: Victorville (92392), San Diego (92101), Pomona (91765), Palm Desert (92210)

If you like driving and have 1-2years of retail or grocery store experience, this is your job for you!!  Even the title is sales representative, you are not actually going to sell the product. Maintain clients and meeting with Demo companies, buyers and merchandisers is your main responsibility.

Job Description:

Areas of Responsibilities:

·         Oversee merchandising and product demonstration programs

·         Timely visits without direct supervision.

·         Accurate Inventory on shelves and cooler, appropriate rotation, re-stock shelves.

·         Clean shelves, remove expired or damaged product from shelves.

·         Utilize promotional materials in the stores.

·         Maximize efforts to ensure orders are place before in-store Demonstrations

·         Performed timely Demo visits according to calendar.

·         Supervise demonstrator’s performance.

·         Provide feedback about product demonstrations.

·         Provide information about sales opportunities.

·         Provide appropriate feedback regarding our competitor’s performance.

·         Build relationships with managers in an effort to maximize our sales and brand awareness.

·         Communicate with supervisors and sales team on an ongoing basis.

·         Attend trainings and meetings as scheduled with manager.

Qualification Guidelines:

·         Must have flexibility- Schedule will require weekends and schedule will change each week. Thursday-Monday (off Tue, Wed)

·         Bilingual (English and Spanish)

·         1-2 years of experience in the retail environment

·         Experience with consumer goods a plus

·         Requires a high school diploma

·         1-2 years of customer support/customer service related experience required.

·         Logistics coordination experience a plus

·         Experience in the food/beverage industry a plus

·         Experience with large grocery chain store buyers a great plus

·         Willingness to travel

·         Excellent communication, interpersonal and writing skills

·         Must be able to work with little supervisor

·         Ability to be a self-starter

·         Must be a team player and take initiative

·         1-2 years of experience in the retail environment, grocery stores a plus

·         Must have reliable transportation
