CITY: Atlanta STATE: Georgia COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities): This position will be responsible for the timely delivery of BI programs for the T&D Business & for complying with GE Energy development standards. The successful candidate will understand & utilize GE Project Management Methodologies (PMM) & Six Sigma (DMAIC and DFSS) rigor to meet deliverables. This position requires a strong understanding of Data Warehousing/BI concepts to drive overall BI direction & reporting/analytics solutions across T&D Sales, Commercial Operations, Finance, Supply, & Customer Service organizations. *Ongoing/direct business engagement on requirements, prioritization, & future reporting/analysis needs. Project planning, budget & resource management. *Manage overall T&D BI program initiatives, including daily project activities, contractor management, issue resolution & communication across project execution teams in order to deliver projects on time, on budget & as requested by our business clients. *Identify critical path decisions, makes recommendations & influences program leaders & business process owners to maximize project payback. *Effectively engage global teams, Shared Services, TSG & CoEs to create and propose technology designs, standards & solutions with high impact to the business. *Partner with business leaders & users to identify BI requirements and arrive at mutual, cost effective solutions for reporting/analytics. *Partner with BI CoE to create & communicate data warehousing/BI strategies to T&D business. *Project Manage development of full life cycle data warehouse solutions to include architecture and deliverables, which includes contract resource engagement & detailed team WBS in accordance with overall project plans. *Manage the technical requirements, identify and resolves issues, monitor overall issue prioritization, progress tracking, and resolution. *Participate in creation and management of technical test & cutover plans. *Serve as primary interface for change control & COE coordination. Qualifications/Requirements: *BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline. *Minimum of 5 years experience in business systems analysis and support including working with all aspects of the systems development life cycle (requirements through implementation). *Minimum 2 years experience managing data warehouse projects. Desired: *Proactive responsible individual, able to set own action plans. *Strong customer /client focus and ability to manage customer expectations. *Strong business acumen. *Quality and Cost driven. *Experience working in a global environment team members working remotely located in various time zones. *Strong written and verbal communication. *Proven interpersonal, facilitation and presentation skills. *Ability to influence and gain commitment at all organizational levels. *Strong organization, planning, and leadership skills. *Demonstrated ability to lead and drive change in a complex matrix environment. *Strong quantitative and analytical skills. *Outstanding project management skills. *Green Belt or Black Belt Certified (GE Employees Only). Experience using Six Sigma tools and techniques. *PMI PMP certification. *Advanced degree or certification.
