This position will provide comprehensive data analysis for Ecolab’s benefit plans focusing on trends, design and integration. This position will also handle technical contracts with vendors, ensure compliance with regulations including ERISA, as well as manage and develop Benefits personnel.

Main Responsibilities: Work with VP to set benefits strategy, including metrics, guidelines, governance, and cost/benefit analysis Recruit, manage, train, develop, and recognize associates in department Work with vendors to develop performance guarantees and manage the technical aspects of the contracts Lead HR benefits planning and execution of special initiatives, such as acquisition integration, restructuring, etc. Provide practical and legal benefit expertise to management team Ensure that divisional HR initiatives are in line with corporate policy. Actively look to partner with other divisions to foster efficiencies, cost savings, and communications Lead communication of U.S. Benefits plans to ensure understanding and effectiveness Generate new plan design and portfolio ideas Participate in FTF and lean events; optimize use of technology to improve efficiencies Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or related discipline 7-10 years experience in cost, trend and claim analysis Preferred Qualifications: Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation Knowledge of insurance underwriting and actuarial calculations Demonstrated ability to manage projects Close attention to detail Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with associates and vendors in a professional manner Demonstrated success in managing and developing people Strong analytical skills and decision making capabilities Regulatory knowledge including all state and federal government laws and regulations Demonstrate a drive for results
