Current Opportunity

COUNSELING

A. Perform individual, group and family therapy as therapeutically necessary and as indicated in the client's Service Plan.

B. Encourage the involvement of the client's family and significant others in the treatment planning process and participation in therapy.

PAPERWORK

A. Formulate appropriate Service Plans with clear and concise goals and objectives.

B. Document all work in accordance with Department of Mental Health and Agency guidelines accurately and completed in a timely manner.

C. Submit weekly Progress Notes to the Clinical Supervisor no later than 12:00 noon Mondays.

D. Maintain content and order of client charts making sure all work is up-to-date.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Minimum of Master's degree (M. A.) or equivalent; or applicable training or related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

No license required. Must have MA/Ph.D./Psy.D. degree and be registered with the appropriate Board. CPR, First Aid training required. Current, valid CA driver’s license. current automobile insurance and must maintain a clean driving record.

2) Residential Aide/life skills coach,

Working with the Developmental Disabled consumers (16 and up) in the day program setting. Mild to high functioning consumers, depending on the program assigned or consumer assigned. Some toileting involved.

Requirements:

No degreed requirement (although a plus)

live scan/clearance to work in a residential program

one year residential facility experience or working in the direct care of the DD population

First aid/CPR

Hours are usually M-F 9-3 or 8-2 ( 6 hours)

The positions are in Riverside, San Bernardino, Kern, Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Also Merced, Madera and Fresno Counties.
