A large California firm is seeking a mid-level banking attorney to join their Los Angeles office.

Candidates must have 3-4 years of experience working with domestic and international banks, commercial finance lenders, asset-based lenders and mortgage bankers at a large law firm. Candidates must have experience in the following areas- structuring, negotiating and documenting all elements of debt and equity transactions; commercial and real estate secured and securitized financing; construction financing; sales of loan and lease portfolios; asset-based lending; and workouts, receiverships, assignments, restructures, bankruptcy and foreclosures.

Candidates must have strong academic record from a top-100 law school. CA Bar strongly preferred.

The successful candidate will focus on workouts and loan restructuring. Compensation is competitive with other large law firms in Los Angeles and will depend on class level.
