JOB DESCRIPTION

Selling local advertising into your own magazine

Selling & coordinating the magazine's cover & feature stories

Maintaining advertising accounts long term

Selecting & directing the local editorial content

Networking and promoting your magazine within the local industry

This is NOT a home based business… this is an outside sales executive position that most of our Representatives “Publishers” run from their home office!!!

QUALIFICATIONS

This position is for true entrepreneurs who have at least three years of solid advertising or direct outside sales experience. This is NOT an entry level position. You must be able to prospect clients within the specific magazine title industry, get the sales meeting, present the opportunity, and handle all objections and CLOSE THE SALE!

Without sales experience your resume will not be considered.

RESPONSIBILITIES – You do the sales and marketing… We Will Do The Rest!

All Marketing Materials (business cards, media kits, stationary, magazine samples)

Full Billing/Invoicing and Collections of all accounts

Trade Show Program

National Editorial, Special Features & Editorial Calendar

Circulation List Development

Magazine Distribution & Mailing

Initial Orientation and Ongoing Support

COMPENSATION

100% commission opportunity. 30% commission on feature story reprint & ePrint sales; up to 30% commission on advertising sales. Quarterly bonus program offered. Multi-market sales opportunities. There are no caps on your earning potential and income. Commissions paid on contract and in advance of collections as soon as 10 days from closing. Average first full year Publisher makes between $60K-80K. Top Producers earning over $300K annually!!!
