AVP, Trustee Services Operations Countrywide Bank Recon Trust performs non-judicial foreclosure and lien release services to Countrywide, and its affiliates, as well as provides similar services to investors and mortgage lenders throughout the country. We currently offer foreclosure trustee services in non-judicial states: California, Arizona, Nevada, Washington, Oregon, Hawaii, Montana, Utah, Alaska, Virginia, Idaho, Arkansas, Nebraska, Missouri, Mississippi and Texas, with plans for expansion into additional non-judicial jurisdictions through 2009. Primary Responsibilities Include:· Monitoring direct reports as they manage their daily operations to ensure timely and accurate processing of the business unit's assigned work and verifying timely resolution of problems. · Reviewing production statistics and timeline statistics. Taking appropriate action to correct deviations from department standards. Setting new goals and updating standards and procedures as necessary.· Overseeing human resource related activities and direct reports, including writing performance reviews, administering salaries, making hiring/firing decisions, tracking time and attendance and overseeing training, and modifying policies and procedures in response to changes to state and federal rules and regulations, also to include investor guideline changes. Setting goals, developing cost effective procedures, and ensuring that budget guidelines are met.· Assisting with the resolution and disbursement of surplus funds as well as adhering to state guidelines for disbursal.· Assisting with the development and implementation of procedural changes including system modifications and operational organization.· Reviewing and assisting with editing and submitting business plans and budgets annually or as required.· Monitoring vendor performance and implementing corrective measures as necessary. Assessing value of vendors to company. Submiting performance tracking as well as issues to management. A Successful Candidate Will Have:· High school diploma or equivalent· 2+ years college coursework in Real Estate, Law, or related field; or equivalent work experience required· 2+ years of college coursework in appraisal and/or Paralegal studies (or equivalent work experience) required if this position is in the Partial Release Unit· Strong technical knowledge in the real estate industry to include (depending on the assigned unit) experience in document management services/custodial, title insurance, default servicing, foreclosure, bankruptcy or escrow processing· Ability to understand complex real estate issue/transactions· Ability to interpret and apply state regulations and investor requirements to specific transactions· Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Access· Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills· Ability to be self-motivated, well organized, detail oriented and a team player· Skills to coach and train assigned staff· 4 - 6 years in mortgage/banking or real estate with the following progressive experience:o 1 - 3 years direct supervision of assigned staffo 1 - 3 years working with state/federal rules and regulations and investor requirements Countrywide is committed to leveraging the talent of a diverse workforce to create great opportunities for our business and our people.
