This position will support the Investment Bank on various research requests and special projects.  The ideal candidate should have a strong Default & Servicing background, along with a strong working knowledge about the Investment Bank & Capital Markets.  The position will be responsible for proper adherence to legal, regulatory, and bank policies/procedures.  The position will liaison with the Investment Bank and ensure proper risk, audit, and compliance controls exist to mitigate financial risk to the organization, while maintaining an environment focused on quality customer service, production and issue resolution with a strong sense of urgency.   Responsibilities may include managing personnel issues including recruiting, interviewing and hiring, setting performance expectations, conducting performance reviews and regular feedback, and coaching.  A high priority within this role includes building effective interpersonal relationships with other business partners, management, and subordinates, and collaborating with others to enhance the effectiveness of your area and the Investment Bank.  The manager will be expected to make sound decisions based on a mixture of data analysis, resources, and experience.  Qualified candidates are expected to articulate in writing and verbally their decision making process.  About Chase Home Lending:Chase originates $170 billion in residential mortgages and home equity annually, and services a portfolio of more than $500 billion.
