Successful candidate will be an integral team member in evaluating the benefits of several initiatives based on simulation and modeling efforts.  They will need to participate in the development of modeling ideas as well as potiential methods of determining the benefits.  They will be expected to present their ideas in a well-thought-out manner and to document correctly both their methodology and results.

Qualifications Required:
 §         Bachelor's degree plus 3 years' related experience, or Master's degree with no exp. 

 §         Detail-oriented with excellent oral and written communication skills.

 §         Strong analytical background performing analysis with incomplete information. 

 §         Willing to "think outside the box" with interest in metric development and analysis.

 §         Familiarity working with large datasets.

Qualifications Desired:

 §         Experience with aircraft performance including fuel burn modeling /simulation/measurement (such as BADA)

 §         Experience with simulation modeling development and limitations.

 §         Familiarity with transportation data sources.

 §         Exp working with large (terabytes) data sets. Places like Census Bureau, Bureau of Transportation and other very large data sets is highly desired
