Maintenance Controller

A progressive aircraft management/charter company located in SE Michigan is looking for a Maintenance Controller. Effective communication skills are essential. Generous health benefits, 401k and great work environment!

 

Responsibilities:

Supervising assigned flight mechanics as designated by the Director of Maintenance and distributing technical and operational instructions to the Flight Mechanics.Recording all applicable data and entering the deferred items into the tracking system. Ensures appropriate, timely action is taken to correct inoperative MEL/CDL and other deferred items.Expediting requests for parts, supplies and technical assistance in support of maintenance.Providing current aircraft status reports, estimated time for return to service for out of service aircraft and the status of deferred items. Including part 121/135 and 91 aircraft. Researching and recording data for delay reports, MRR, MIS and other unscheduled maintenance events.

 

Qualifications:Hold a current FAA certified A&P mechanic certificate, and have held these ratings for at least 3 years.Have at least 3 years of maintenance experience on different types of large aircraft with 10 or more passenger seats with an air carrier or certificated repair station.  Airbus experience preferred.
