Description

The Collections Supervisor plays a significant role in the branch through initial and frequent contact with borrowers. As a Collections Supervisor you will contact borrowers to advise them of their loan contract responsibilities and persuade them to bring their delinquent accounts current through payment negotiations. Duties include supervising a team of auto loan collectors in timely and effective collection of delinquent accounts; skip tracing, resolving customer disputes, collateral disposal and scheduling repossessions as well as daily collection calls. A successful Collections Supervisor will work closely with all team members in the branch to achieve monthly goals.

Required Experience

4-8 years of successful collections experience, preferably in the areas of auto or consumer finance (captive, non-captive and 3rd party experience considered); job stability; a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience, strong attention to detail professional and persuasive communication and negotiation skills, knowledge of FDCPA regulations, ability to thrive and be motivated by a fast-paced team environment; sound judgment, adaptability, problem solving and strong computer skills required.
