The Georgia-Pacific (GP) Audit Services organization drives value through governance related audit activity and by partnering with business segments and other capabilities on valued added projects. This includes assisting management in the evaluation and improvement in the Companys risk management, internal control, and governance processes. The Audit Services department has won The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Recognition of Commitment award. GP was the first company in Atlanta, and the forest products industry, to receive the award based on criteria including professional excellence, quality, and outreach. AUDIT MANAGER JOB REQUIREMENTS: Demonstrated ability to coordinate the simultaneous completion of multiple projects/audits Lead, coach and develop audit staff, including management of direct reporting relationships Strong project management skills with the ability to accomplish multiple tasks at once Demonstrated leadership ability; visionary Demonstrated organizational change results Works with a sense of urgency, while leading others Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, with a wide variety of audiences Establish relationships with business leaders across multiple functional areas, while identifying project opportunities Demonstrated ability to gain credibility and build trust Strong collaboration skills; seeks expert knowledge in shaping action Up to 40% Travel BASIC QAULIFICATIONS: EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: An accounting degree (or other business degree and accounting classes through Intermediate), or related degree Minimum 3.0 GPA KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCES: Strong foundation in the technical aspects of auditing (e.g., internal controls, risk assessment or other related general/application controls), including the activities involved in annual audit planning to maximize value and ensure risk concerns are identified and incorporated Well-developed project management and talent evaluation skills Assess adequacy of financial control processes and capabilities Proficient in the objectives and methods of internal audit 7+ years of experience in successfully executing audit-related work or similar experiences Related certification (e.g., CIA, CPA, CMA, CFE) and/or advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MSA) is preferred
