An opportunity is currently available for an experienced information technology audit professional within our Internal Audit Department. The successful candidate is offered challenge and rewards in a highly visible, multidimensional position. This individual will have the opportunity to work with the Corporate Team, primarily covering Shared Services Operations, Human Resources, Corporate Governance functions, and Financial and Corporate Technology Management with a goal of enhancing business practices and controls including information technology. This individual will be expected to lead the development, maintenance and execution of the technology audit strategy and plan, perform a wide range of people management responsibilities including the supervision other IT auditors, and ensure that IT risks are integrated into all aspects of the audit process. The audit professional will participate in all phases of both technology and integrated audits, including planning, control analysis and testing, issue development and reporting. This individual will be expected to manage and maintain key relationships with business unit systems and operations executives, as well as other control partners and external auditors. The individual will be expected to achieve technology integration throughout all audits where appropriate by participating in risk assessment and scope definition, effectively identifying technology risks and the most effective way to address them, effectively using technology resources throughout the year, and educating peers on technology risks. Ideally seeking an audit professional with 6 to 8 years of IT audit experience, including risk assessment, development of audit plan and strategy. Should have experience supervising a staff of IT auditors and leading projects.

Extensive experience with risk assessment, control analysis, audit procedures and standards, in addition to, sampling techniques, risk components, and the internal framework of control. Knowledge of both mainframe and client/server platforms and risks associated with them (inclusive of MVS, UNIX, Wintel, MQ series, Oracle, Sybase, AS/400, Websphere, Changeman, PVCS); logical and application security; general application controls; and systems development methodology. Ability to develop and maintain on-going relationships with business group partners. Furthermore, demonstrate the ability to effectively and confidently discuss audit issues with management and develop business-focused recommendations to strengthen controls and risk management practices is essential. Outstanding project management and analytical skills; strong written and oral communication skills; ability to partner. A business degree in either accounting or finance and an academic record that indicates a high degree of success is required; a graduate degree in business would be helpful, but is not required. Certification including one or more of: CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP, CISM is a plus but not required. Position is based in Newark, NJ, however 20% travel time is required in New Jersey (Roseland) and Pennsylvania (Ft. Washington).
