Bashen Corporation is a national human resources consulting firm that specializes in building EEO initiatives by providing EEO claims administration for corporations, the federal government and insurance companies. Bashen writes Affirmative Action Plans, delivers workplace training, and provides enterprise licenses to its patented EEO software, LinkLine.

Bashen seeks a dynamic EEO Consultant who is familiar with the administrative claims process or the litigation discovery process. The consultant will: interact continuously with Bashen’s clients and agency investigators; acquire and analyze documentary and testimonial evidence; prepare fact-finding reports and position statements; respond to interrogatories and requests for production; negotiate settlements; attend agency on-site investigations and fact-finding conferences; and consult clients as necessary. Depending on interest and a demonstrated aptitude by the consultant, other interesting assignments may include training and affirmative action plan preparation. The successful consultant must have the following characteristics: critical thinking skills; a strong work ethic; solid organizational and time management skills; the willingness and ability to adapt to sudden changes; a willingness to accept constructive criticism; and employ a common sense approach in every situation.

Education and Experience
A minimum of five years Employment Law and/or related experience is required. A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, English, Technical Writing or a related field. An advanced degree such as an MBA is required. You will not practice law, but a Law Degree is STRONGLY preferred. Salary is competitive and based on experience.
