West Group, the preeminent legal information provider to the U.S. legal market is looking for Attorney Editors to provide legal interpretation to support the development of print and electronic publications. Responsibilities:
Applies legal analysis, writing, research, and project management to support the creation and ongoing maintenance of family law products. Responsibilities include:
Act as editorial manager for family law suite of products, including print, software applications, and  CD-ROM; be evangelist for the product line Managing software projects, including bug logging and prioritization, and coordination between developers and subject matter experts; Troubleshooting and testing of the software, maintenance of Help documentation Providing training to sales force, customers, and courts Maintaining family law website Handling escalated customer queries Managing the release schedule, ensuring that all updates are tested properly and released on time; Support developer when requested, including data collection and manipulation for tax updating process; Writing for family law and other publications, as need arises.  
Requirements:
LL.B. or JD Degree from an American Bar Association approved law school is required. Demonstrated strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills along with solid editorial judgment, project management and attention to detail. In-depth understanding of child- and spousal-support issues and family law litigation generally, in-depth understanding of personal income tax. Ability to interpret, analyze, organize, and express detailed legal material. Ability to discern and accurately express usage instruction for creation of user-friendly technical documentation. Requires a detail-oriented individual with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple functions and schedules. This individual will demonstrate the ability to successfully work in a team environment and provide work direction as necessary. Must have understanding of software projects, tools, and practices; understanding of website organization and maintenance Must have excellent interpersonal, sales, and customer service skills, along with superior presentation skills. Normal office hours and environment; constant reading and exposure to personal computers, extra hours will be required to meet deadlines.
