Moss Adams LLP, the 11th largest accounting firm in the nation, and located in the Western U.S., continues to grow its NFP/Government practice in our Eugene, Oregon office.  The NFP/Government practice is among the top five industry groups in the firm, the largest industry practice in our Eugene office, and is among the fastest growing industry groups within the firm.  Our clientele is diverse and includes the largest cities, counties, university systems, transit authorities, public pension plans, and special purpose governments in the region. 

Two leaders of the firm’s NFP/Government practice are partners based in Eugene. Mary Case chairs our firmwide industry group and serves on the Executive Committee of the AICPA’s Government Audit Quality Center.  Jim Lanzarotta is a member of the AICPA State and Local Government Expert Panel, working closely with the AICPA, GASB, and GAO.  In these roles, Mary and Jim have the opportunity to provide input to help shape future accounting and auditing standards and share timely information with our staff and clients before standards are issued.

We are currently looking for an Assurance Service Seniors, Managers, and Senior Managers for our NFP/Governmental group in our Eugene location. Assurance Services Seniors Managers provide both leadership and supervision to Audit Staff and Seniors and manage external audit engagements. They provide detailed analysis of findings and coordinate all analytical, technical and research tasks. Managers work with Senior Managers and Partners in in ever aspect of audit engagements including planning exicusion oversight and reporting.

Qualifications:

Minimum governmental accounting experience:  3 years for Senior, 5 years for Manager, 8 years for Senior ManagerGovernmental audit experience a plusBachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA requiredWillingness and ability to travel to client locationsStrong motivation to meet client deadlines and provide excellent client serviceStrong analytical and report writing skillsComprehensive understanding of data analysis techniquesAbility to mentor and train others
