Job Description --------------- PricewaterhouseCoopers is currently seeking a highly motivated individual for a healthcare/not-for-profit assurance senior manager position within the firm’s Baltimore, MD office. This position is responsible for providing high quality service to our top tier clients. This position includes audits, financial statements reviews, OMB Circular A133 audits and other assurance and attest services to a variety of top tire healthcare and not-for-profits clients located in the Baltimore, MD area. This assurance senior manager will manage annual audit engagements including all aspects of financial statement preparation, internal staffing of engagements, project scheduling and budgeting, planning and execution of the engagement and other administrative functions. On a regular basis, this senior manager will work with highly credentialed members of senior management to develop client relationships and promote new business opportunities. On a daily basis, this senior manager will be expected to manage multiple relationships, ensure client satisfaction through high quality service deliverables, and continue to develop industry and technical expertise through written reports and management presentations. In addition, this senior manager will be expected to share ideas with other PwC personnel and support critical reasoning with proper firm and professional standards. Years of Experience Required ---------------------------- 7-8 Education Required ------------------ BS in Accounting, CPA Required Job Requirement Essential ------------------------- - 7+ years of recent public accounting experience (healthcare and not-for-profit industries experience is required) - Working knowledge of the Maryland HSCRC payment system - Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) - Experience in communicating at Senior Management and Board/Audit Committee level - The ability to interact with all levels of firm and client management - Prior experience mentoring/coaching team members - Commitment to exceptional client service - Desire to assist the firm in growing our assurance practice in local market - Flexible self-starter possessing intellectual curiosity is a must Type of Position ---------------- Full Time
