POET, an industry leader in ethanol plant design, engineering, construction, and management seeks an Associate Process Automation Engineer.

 

Provide support and service to existing Distributive Control Systems (DCS) installations
Configuration of Emerson Delta V
Systematic approach to design and programming
Debug Software & Hardware Issues, after-hours work will be required in emergency cases
Document hardware and software designs
Working knowledge of hardware & software life cycles
Prepare Operation & Maintenance Manuals
Apply skills to implement, maintain, service and support new and existing plant DCS systems. Manage instrumentation checkout and troubleshoot at new construction plant sites.

Administer process control system expansion projects and service.

Support existing DCS implementations.

 

Qualified applicants will have an associates degree or greater in Automation, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related discipline. Knowledge in the areas of PC Hardware, Networking, Programming, Electrical Wiring, DCS and Instrumentation is recommended. Travel required.
