An associate NDE technician will work with project teams to conduct non-destructive examinations, according to written procedures, under the supervision of Level II or higher inspection personnel, during commercial nuclear power plant outages. Candidates should expect to travel to nuclear facilities at least 50% of the time. Headquarters activities will include but not be limited to: set-up, calibration, maintenance, repair, and operation of various NDE systems. General knowledge of NDE services and techniques required.
Positive work ethic, good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment required.
High school degree or the equivalent plus 2 years post high school in a related technical curriculum or equivalent work related experience required.
Must hold level I (or higher) certifications, per SNT-TC-1A in the following NDE methods: VT, PT, MT, UT, and ET.
Approximately 50% travel to both domestic and international locations may be required.
Must be able to obtain/maintain Unescorted Site Access clearances.
