ADI, a Honeywell company, is currently looking for an Associate Inside Sales Representative. As a member of a billion dollar plus security business, ADI is the leading wholesale distributor of security and low-voltage equipment.

 

Position Description:

 

Responsible for generating and closing telephone/walk-in sales orders through telemarketing, face-to-face selling and participating in marketing/sales events.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

 

Processes orders and provides customer service by assisting in product selection, negotiating price, performing order/quote entry, researching/resolving customer questions/complaints, maintain sales literature/displays and arranging for customer training.

 

Generates sales by cold/warm-calling current/prospective customers, educating them about product lines and providing advice.

 

Complies with branch operational requirements by ensuring properly completed invoices and returns, handling cashiering duties, maintaining the sales floor, ensuring that inventory is stocked properly, maintaining sales literature and event displays, participating in taking inventory and reconciling cash drawers.

 

Participate in industry events, by attending trade shows, association programs and obtaining, providing product training.

Basic Qualifications Required:

 

Authorization to work in the US

Experience in customer service

 

Additional Qualifications Preferred:

 

Minimum of six (6) months of equipment sales or technical experience

Strong verbal, organization, multi-tasking and basic math skills preferred.

PC literacy and a team mentality also preferred
