Associate Director, Pharmacy Services

Description

In this position, you will oversee all aspects of pharmacy informatics in the Department of Pharmacy.  This includes managing all inpatient and ambulatory pharmacy systems, robotics and automation.  You will serve as the Pharmacy liaison to Information Technology.  You will be responsible for supporting, planning and managing current and future projects.  Informatics staff includes both pharmacists and data analysts. 

Requirements

B.S Degree in Pharmacy, from an accredited university with five years’ experience in a contemporary pharmacy informatics or eight or more years of experience with pharmacy systems in a large organization.  Strong project management, analytical, problem solving, communication, interpersonal and leadership skills are essential to success. Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and database management software is a must. Familiarity with EPIC Rx inpatient pharmacy, PYXIS MedStation Rx , pharmacy robotics and other pharmacy automation technology is a plus.
