POSITION
SUMMARY:
The HSC Office of Diversity (OOD) is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented professional, to work with the Vice President for Diversity's leadership team as the Associate Director of the HSC Office of Diversity. The current OOD mission is to promote ethnic, racial, socio-economic, and geographic diversity in the Health Sciences Center, and to develop a variety of opportunities addressing key issues in diversity. The Associate Director provides leadership for strategic planning and developing policy and program initiatives for faculty, students and staff that promote educational and institutional access and equity. This individual will also develop and maintain partnerships within HSC and diverse communities, develop and oversee budget functions, and identify and submit grant and other funding requests.
MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree with 5 to 7 years experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
