JOB TITLE: Associate Director, Global Health Outcomes Assessment (GHOA) LOCATION: Collegeville, PA DEPARTMENT: GHOA POSITION REPORTS TO: Senior Director, GHOA REQUISITION #13993 As an Associate Director for the Quantitative Analysis, Modeling and Statistics team in Global Health Outcomes Assessment, you will provide hands-on support in developing and adapting economic modeling for key markets, collaborating with regional affiliates as necessary, for current and new indications, in pursuit of identified commercial and reimbursement strategy. You will play a tactical and operational role in implementing health outcomes studies, collaborating with external contract organizations, consultants and others to support characterization of economic burden of disease and economic value of assigned products. You will conduct strategic assessments of potential economic value for pipeline drugs, based on proposed clinical target profiles, to guide clinical study design, including choice of target population, comparator, and pricing decisions, collaborating as needed with various internal functional units, including global pricing and reimbursement, new business development, epidemiology and strategic marketing, under direction of the supervisor. You will draft summary of strategic economic assessment, as needed, for key milestones in drug development process to facilitate understanding of expected economic and reimbursement potential and pricing implications of pipeline drugs by internal strategy teams, under direction of supervisor. You will participate in preparing and publishing abstracts and manuscripts in scientific journals, and making presentations at key meetings, on the results of key health outcomes studies, in line with the publication strategy. You will also participate in drafting and finalization of health outcomes sections of reimbursement dossiers, incorporating completed research, so as to ensure timely and contextual presentation of expected economic value from the perspective of external stakeholders, and to facilitate the understanding and interpretation of existing research by internal and external customers, working closely with the supervisor. This position requires a Master's degree with a biostatistics, statistics, epidemiology, or economics major plus 7 years of experience in health outcomes research, and/or a related field, or a Doctorate degree with a biostatistics, statistics, epidemiology, or economics major plus at least 2 years of work experience in health outcomes research. Specifically, experience with pharmacoeconomic modeling is required and additional experience with statistical analyses/modeling is highly preferred. Note: Individuals with a Master's Degree, a major in Statistics, Biostatistics or Epidemiology, but with less than 7 years of Health Economics/Outcomes Research experience are encouraged to apply since they may be considered for a different, less senior, position.
