Job ID: 17708 Posting Title: Associate Actuary Working Location: New York, NY Employment Status: Full-Time Job Summary: The Zurich North American division is most excited to be creating a new organization dedicated to customers whose annual receipts fall between $5,000,000 and $25,000,000 across the United States, domiciled in New Jersey. This organization, Zurich Integrated Products will be comprised of our domestic suite of products including both Specialty and Casualty lines. Our organization is seeking persons with specific qualifications and those that are self initiated, enjoy collaborative work environments, and have a passion for participating in start up ventures. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of ratemaking, reserving and forecasting. Job Qualifications: Bachelors Degree or equivalent 8 or more years of related experience. 1. The incumbent has advanced knowledge of actuarial statistics/assumptions used for rate making, loss reserving and forecasting. Very familiar with internal and external statistical plans and sources of data, and the use of spreadsheet applications. 2. Excellent communication and presentation skills. 3. Aware of emerging issues affecting product lines. 4. ACAS. 5. Eight exams - FCAS.
