BNP Paribas is a European leader in Financial Services with significant and growing presence in the US and Middle East.  One of the largest international banking networks with a presence in more than 85 countries and with more than 161,000 employees.  BNP Paribas is one of only four banks around the world with an S&P rating of AA+ or higher.  The North American Operation is a critical component of this success.  Its mission is to provide high quality operational support to trading activities at a competitive cost while reducing risk to a minimum.   Job Description BNP Paribas North America Capital Markets Operations is seeking an Assistant Vice President for the Product & Accounting Control Group (PAC), working as part of a team of seven covering cash reconciliations, P&L reconciliation to sub-ledger, balance sheet substantiation, Federal Reserve Board reporting, as well as general accounting, control, and reporting responsibilities.  Specific responsibilities will include:Cash Reconciliations for the Broker Dealer GL (Bank of New York DTC, Euroclear) Federal Reserve Board Reporting Responsibility for smaller equity entity sub ledger controls Assist on projects including but not limited to system upgrades, implementations, automations Perform specific duties and reporting as assigned  Dependent on the candidate’s aptitude and performance supervisory duties may also be assigned  ProfileWorking knowledge of IntelliMatch Demonstrate good understanding of double entry accounting Opinion leader with advanced verbal & written communication skills Change agent with exemplary attitude:- innovative, enthusiastic, rigorous, organized, execution oriented, team spirited, while demonstrating strong control skills Intermediate Excel skills (Pivot tables, Vlookups, etc) Fixed Income Product knowledge - (Treasuries / Govies / Agencies / Munis / Corporates / Mortgages etc.)**Previous FRB reporting a plus**Previous use of ICI a plus  

 

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (or similar)  5 yrs + of experience in similar role & organization
