An upscale women’s retail store, located in Atlanta, Georgia is adding the position of an Assistant Store Manager. This luxury women’s retail boutique carries designer to contemporary, shoes and handbags and day time to cocktail dresses. It is also widely known for carrying international and domestic designer brands, as well as, elite newcomers to fashion. 

 

Position Requirements:

Support Store Manager in overall operation of the storeUtilize excellent interpersonal, communication and problem resolution skills

o        Build and maintain solid relationships with associates — be on the sales floor to assist clients and help associates, as needed

o        Coach, counsel, and develop sales associates to maximize sales

Assist in developing and administering motivational programs to generate additional sales and maximize profitsEnsure all Customers have a great shopping experienceInterface with current high profile clientele and build new clientele baseDevelop, monitor and maintain clientele program

o        Confirm associates are proactively following up on customer orders, challenges, and needs

Communicate effectively with Store Manager on all merchandise needs and directly with Buying Office in Store Manager’s absence.Coordinate and assist with store special eventsRepresent the company in community and social events as a way to promote and increase businessRecruit, Interview and hire powerful commissioned sales and support associatesCoordinate with the Store Manager to ensure that floor, windows, sales, and events are set up to maximize salesParticipate in opening and closing of the store as Manager on duty

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in upscale retail sales and managementExperience in working with a commission sales staffAbility to direct sales, coach, resolve customer service issues, etc.Possess strong leadership, coaching, training and development skillsExperience in clientelingHigh School diploma or GED requiredCollege Degree preferredMicrosoft Word and Excel
