Assistant Professor, Food, Nutrition and Hospitality Assistant Professor, Food, Nutrition and Hospitality - 9 MonthAcademicYear, Non-Tenure Track Faculty Position in the Ohio University School of Human and Consumer Sciences. Plus
additional stipend for Faculty Coordinator of the Atrium Cafi.

 

Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate courses in Food, Nutrition and Hospitality. Oversee the Atrium Cafi, supervising the Atrium Cafi manager, purchasing, managing costs, adhering to the budget, making decisions about equipment upgrades, and maintain sanitation standards. Possible courses include quantity foods course and lab, sophomore practicum lab, sanitation, facilities management, beverage management, hospitality accounting, and purchasing. Lead collaborative and experiential student learning activities.
Participate in committee work and professional organizations. Advise students, supervise field experiences, and facilitate field trips as needed. Maintain contacts with industry. We seek a candidate who is committed to working with
students and colleagues from diverse populations. Qualifications: Masters Degree required. One degree should be in Food, Nutrition and Hospitality. 3-5 years experience in hospitality management required. Teaching experience
strongly preferred.
