Current NJ RN License. Coordinates patient care on the unit & communicates extensively with other care givers, patient and/or patient's family to promote positive patient outcomes. Supervises & participates in management of unit. Assists the Nurse Manager in coordinating the clinical activities on the unit. BSN pref. Req 3 yrs recent clinical exp. Must have a broad knowledge of nursing practice & ability to apply specific skills in nursing intervention. Demonstrates competency in management and leadership skills. Participates in professional organizations when possible. Perfects skills and keeps abreast of current nursing practice.

Bachelors degree required. Certification in specility (RNC) preferred. A 3 year minimum required in a charge position in L&D required.

This position is a 40 hour a week position, Monday-Friday, day shift. There needs to be flexibility of coverage is needed
