Talecris Plasma Resources specializes in the collection of human plasma used in therapies that help people everywhere maintain and enhance their quality of life. Continued growth at our Colorado Springs, CO Plasma Donor Center has created an immediate, full-time opening for an Assistant Manager.
You will assist the Center Manager in supporting and managing the operations of the Plasma Collection Center to include financial, administrative, marketing, human resources, regulatory, quality and facilities management. You will ensure compliance with all federal, state, local and company-specific regulations related to quality of products, employee and donor safety. Duties also include managing team members to prepare for internal and external audits; preparing routine reports; updating management on center operations; and assist in production areas as needed.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in a scientific, medical or business discipline (or equivalent) and one year relevant experience, preferably in and biomedical industry. Must have excellent interpersonal, leadership, organizational and technical skills and demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize. Previous experience in plasma or blood center operations is desired. Position requires occasional travel. Availability to work flexible scheduling to cover center hours and alternate working on Saturdays.
