CITY: Universal City STATE: California COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities): The Assistant Manager will maintain database of various material inventories. Will track and retrieve all materials created by Distribution team and/or TV clients. Will maintain accurate tracking report of all unapproved masters located at various vendors. Will maintain and distribute Series Availability reports for U.S. Syndication market. Track and retrieve all materials created by Distribution team and/or TV clients at outside facilities. Includes, retrieval of video masters, foreign language tracks, subtitles, and closed caption files. Work directly with Universal Digital Services on insuring accuracy of element details in various inventory systems. Includes reviewing and approving element degauss notices submitted to TV Distribution by Universal Digital Services. Create and maintain database of selected inventories that can be accessed by Sales and Sales Administration teams. Maintain an accurate tracking report of all unapproved masters located at various vendors. Maintaining Series Availability Reports and issuing them, as needed, to U.S. Sales Group. Includes researching usage of library product, updating reports to reflect current status of series and runs available. Responding to all inquiries from Sales and Legal group concerning series usage and availability. Assist Manager of Worldwide Mastering and Asset Management with various projects. Includes fulfilling work order request and assisting with element availability research. Performs other related duties as requested by management. Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED Minimum of 1 year experience working with video-tape formats Minimum of 3 years experience working with computers, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet research. Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States. Must be 18 years or older. Desired: Minimum of 2 years experience and in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Prior work experience in television distribution/production industry preferred. Prior working knowledge of film, video and audio formats. Superior organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize work Excellent analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to execute and follow-through with minimal supervision. Demonstrated experience and willingness to perform at a high level as a team player. Excellent attention to detail and demonstrated initiative; self-starter and accountable. Demonstrated ability to assume greater responsibility as circumstances dictate.
