DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Reporting to the Regional Director, the Assistant Director of Recruitment will organize activities and manage part-time staff within their region to recruit students for Lesley University's off-campus programs in Georgia to meet specific enrollment goals. Initiate, cultivate and manage the development of external contacts (public and private school teachers and administrators, teacher organizations, school committees, agencies, etc) throughout the defined territory (Augusta, Macon, Coastal and South Georgia) to increase new student enrollment. Coordinate special recruitment events, informational meetings, and other promotional activities to attract targeted students to Lesley. Facilitate appropriate communication with prospective students regarding program information, the application process, financial aid, student services and registration for classes.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS: Bachelor's degree required. At least one year of experience in higher education enrollment preferred. Experience in K-12 education preferred. Excellent organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills required. Strong networking skills and ability to assertively interact with people required. Strong customer service orientation and a consultative sales approach required. Must have the ability to manage part-time employees both remotely and directly. Must be able to work effectively with little direct supervision. Travel throughout the state of Georgia required.
