Job Description: Assist Customer Service Supervisor in supervising and coordinating activities for Front Counter, Forklift Operations, Customer Service, Inventory Specialists, Lot Attendants and Call Center.
Tasks include:
· Be available to assist employees and customers 24 hours per day seven days a week
· Communicates with other departments and management to resolve problems and expedite work
· Interviews prospective employees, observes and evaluates worker’s performances, discipline employees and recommend terminations
· Assists Customer Service Supervisor on gathering data to resolve and answer questions of customers and Nevada Transportation Authority inquiries / complaints regarding services and procedures
· Interprets and communicates work procedures and company policies to staff (safety, dress codes, and conduct etc.)
· Assist in the Planning, preparing, and devising work schedules and Payroll for all work centers, according to budgets and workloads
· Oversee training program for all assigned work centers
· Validate and Schedule employee’s vacations and time off
· Ensures Forklift Operators, Front Counter Clerks, Inventory Specialists and Lot Attendants are properly trained
· Responsible for making final calls on validity of identification and ownership documentation
· Works with police agencies on holds and hold releases
· Responsible for accessing vehicle value in regards to discounting charges associated to vehicle being turned over to Quality/United Road Towing
· Respond & resolve customer complaints in an efficient and timely manner
· Conducts spot inspections of front counter cash drawers
· Verifies drops are made on schedule, issue banks and do reconciliation’s on a daily basis
· Assigns appropriate duties to Front Counter Supervisor and Forklift Operators
· Ensure ample room is available in the yard for auction vehicles, relocations and transport of Auction vehicles
· Capable and willing to operate forklift in emergencies
· Manage yard inventories and respond to and correct discrepancies
· Ensures custodial duties are accomplished daily
· Ensure Commerce Yard is swept and cleared of trash regularly
· Conducts monthly facility inspections
